Looking to find out more about how 4G mobile broadband can help you get online? We’ve put together some answers to some of the most common questions and issues that we get asked by our customers:

1. No need for a landline or cable

Most internet providers will have to supply you via landline or cable, so if this is something that you don’t have then 4G broadband installation avoids the need to have a major installation created within your property.

2. No engineering survey

…at least not at first. Because although we take care of the installation, we can check your 4G coverage online so there’s no requirement for an engineer to visit the site until we know that your property is suitable. This ensures there’s no wasted visit for you to wait in for, we’ll only visit to do a final site survey and discuss installation.

3. Faster than broadband

Believe it or not, 4G connection speeds are on average 40Mbps faster than fibre. So if you’re worried about slow speeds on a 4G home broadband setup, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

4. Full property coverage

Our network engineers will install the perfect broadband solution into your property and can flood your property with WiFi! Breaking free of cables and wires is the best thing about 4G broadband.

5. No long contracts

Forget signing up to long term contracts that tie you in, 4G home internet can free you from contracts.

6. Limited data usage

You’d be surprised how many times we hear people say that they expect 4G broadband to have very low usage limits, so imagine getting up to 1200GB per month!

7. Too slow for videos?

Another of the misconceptions about mobile internet is that it’s too slow to do many of the things you want to, like watch videos. Thankfully, you’ll be pleased to know that this is far from the case.

8. Talking with VOIP

It’s not just the internet access that 4G4U can help you with, you can also add VOIP (internet phone) and get a host of features with that too:

– Keep your existing number

– Get a new number

– Add additional numbers

– Download an app and answer all your calls through it

– Get call recording

9. Installed anywhere

It doesn’t just have to be your house that you get connected. We can install 4G mobile broadband on vans, caravans, and boats too.

10. A grant of up to £800 in Wales

As the Welsh Government is trying to get Wales up to speed, you could get a grant of up to £800 towards installation (Wales only).
